MICK SEELEY
Keyboards / Rhythm Guitar / Vocals
You may recognize Mick from his playing days with Dan Hartman, Billy Brannigan and/or Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. In these bands, Mick appeared on Late Night with David Letterman and The Tonight Show. Mick was once a member of Jersey Shore favorites Bystander and The Rest with Jon Bon Jovi, even singing backups on Bon Jovi's first hit "Runaway".
How did Mick find his way into The BI Tribute? In the early 1980's, Mick performed in an original band with guitarist, Lee Scott Howard. That group disbanded but the two remained friends through the years. In 2007, The BI Tribute decided to add a fourth member to the group. Not only did they want a professional musician with good vocal ability and similar goals, they also needed someone who would blend in with the solid personal chemistry already in place. Lee knew Mick would be a perfect fit for this band and highly recommended his friend to Robert and Jeff. Mick came to his first BI rehearsal and from that moment on, there was no doubt, he was their man!
When performing The British Invasion Tribute, Mick brings his multi-talented abilities to the stage. As keyboardist for the group, he brilliantly adds the authentic sounds from the 1960's while singing backing vocals and on occassion, joining in on rhythm guitar with Lee!
